How it works
Simple steps for sellers and bidders
1. Seller verification
Seller registers, submits proof, and completes a WhatsApp verification call. Verified sellers get a badge.
2. Listing shares
Seller publishes a listing with shares amount, minimum bid, and bidding window.
3. Bidding
Bidders place offers. Bid amounts are visible publicly. Partial identities and counties are shown.
4. Seller selects a bidder
Seller reviews bid amount and county then selects a winning bidder.
5. Platform fee payment
The selected bidder pays the buyer fee within a timer. The seller then pays the seller fee. Fees are charged only after selection.
6. Transfer at SACCO office
Contacts are revealed. Buyer and seller meet at the SACCO office to transfer shares using a SACCO agent. Buyer pays seller directly.
Important
SaccoBid connects both sides and tracks the process. It does not handle the SACCO transfer or the buyer to seller payment.
